Packaging

We pack tarantulas in ventilated containers with lightly moist substrate, thermally insulated to prevent shifting during transit. Heat packs are included at no extra charge during colder months. Live shipping operates during safe temperature periods (approximately April–October); during extreme heat or frost we limit shipping to a guaranteed courier or pause it for the animals' safety.

Shipping methods (EU)

• DPD — from approx. €20–25, the economy option, not covered by the Live Arrival Guarantee (transport risk falls to the buyer). A reasonable choice for neighbouring countries outside heatwave periods.
• UPS Express — from approx. €30–50, fast, covered by the Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG).
• FedEx Priority — from approx. €45–70, fast, covered by the Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG); for selected/longer-distance destinations.

The final cost depends on the destination country and parcel size, and is shown after you select your delivery country. Live animals are dispatched internationally on Mondays and Tuesdays only, to avoid weekend transit. Orders paid before 9:00 AM are dispatched the same day when possible. Feeder insects are not shipped internationally; accessories are permitted.

Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)

The Live Arrival Guarantee covers UPS Express and FedEx Priority. DPD shipments travel at the buyer's risk, due to longer and less predictable transit times.

Guarantee conditions:

• the parcel is collected on the first delivery attempt,
• a dead specimen is reported by the end of the day on which delivery took place,
• documentation: a photo or video showing the animal against the parcel and packing slip.

Compensation for a confirmed claim — choose one of:

• a replacement specimen included with your next order,
• a discount voucher towards future purchases equal to the value of the deceased specimen,
• a refund of the specimen's value.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.
